Carpentry

The success of a paint project can come down to the substrate. With the advent of finger jointed trim boards and other man made materials the wood can start to break down and eventually not hold paint well. Moisture can also deteriorate wood as it ages if there is flashing issues, water intrusion, etc. We have found that most carpentry contractors are not interested in replacing a piece of trim or siding. Because we are onsite performing the paint work we are happy to assist with paint preparation repairs. Ultimately the paint will perform better with replacing deteriorated trim. The owner has the added benefit of dealing with one contractor for both projects.
